The local Police Chiefs have been working closely with Barnstable County to provide bicycle safety equipment specifically for our summer employees that use the bicycle as their primary means of transportation. The first shipment of free bicycle safety lights are now available to Wellfleet employees! The Wellfleet Police will also be conducting bike safety talks.
Please consider sending your employees to a bike safety presentation at the Grace Assembly of God, located at 25 Lieutenant Island Rd. in South Wellfleet on June 24th from 6:00 pm until 9:00 pm. Representatives from all of the Lower Cape Police Departments will be on hand to answer questions, give safety tips and free safety lights.
