Customer satisfaction depends on your experience with our well-trained and cheerful staff, our outstanding cleaning services, and on the quality of our rental linens and customer service, Consequently, The Furies remains committed to both our employees and our customers. History The Furies began in Wellfleet on Cape Cod as a small cleaning service in 1985 by a couple of college students. In 1991, they sold the name, logo, and a short customer list to Sarah Curley, who already owned a small cleaning service that she started in 1979. Since then The Furies has grown quite a bit! We added Linen Rentals in 1996 to help make your well-deserved Cape Cod summer vacation easier! We also can supply you with basic bedding needs such as mattress pads, pillows and blankets. We are fully bonded and insured and are open year-round. Staff The Furies works as a team. The office staff heads up the team and does all the scheduling, handles all the customers' requests, and responds to any positive or negative feedback. We are here year-round to service your cleaning needs in Truro, Wellfleet, Eastham and Orleans. We generally have 6 cleaners working through the holidays, dropping to 3 for the cold Cape Cod winter months. In April our seasonal staff starts to arrive from various counties and we increase to our peak of 24 cleaners by the middle of June. Many of our seasonal staff return year after year and have become very attached to Cape Cod! Some of our seasonal staff stays through the end of October, which is when we drop down to our skeleton crew of 6 cleaners. Customers Served We have hundreds of customers! Some of our customers have us clean on a regular periodic schedule while others have us clean only once or twice a year. Others have us clean while they are here on vacation. Still others rent linens, reducing the amount of packing required for their Cape Cod visit! The housecleaning service operates primarily in Wellfleet and Truro, but has recently expanded to include Eastham and Orleans. |
